The Made Here Natural Fiber Studio was launched to share our passion and love of natural fiber arts. Taking fiber from a local grown animal and turning it into an amazing gift or something I can wear is a joy. That joy has turned fiber arts like knitting, crocheting, weaving, and felting into some of the most popular hobbies in the United States. These are forgotten crafts that are making a resurgence as everyone wants an eco-friendly way to connect their lives and hobbies with the natural world around them. We’ve created a facility where fiber artists of all types can teach, people can learn, and make memories while they make their own one of a kind fiber products. What better location to explore these forgotten arts than a log cabin hand hewn in the 1790’s. Experience the JOY of learning fiber arts, in a fun historical environment, working together with friends and expert teachers at one of our “Make and Take” classes.
